Subscriptions

Subscriptions are available in API v2 only. Switch to the Subscriptions (API v2) documentation to integrate recurring billing.

Tokenz Subscriptions — recurring billing, trial periods, dunning, and plan changes — are supported exclusively through the v2 API. The v1 Checkout Session and Webhook APIs do not include a subscription object, a subscription block on Checkout Session creation, or any subscription.* webhook events.

Using v1 and v2 together

You don't need to migrate your entire integration to use subscriptions. The v1 and v2 APIs run side by side under the same account and API key, so you can keep using v1 for your existing one-time-payment integration and call the v2 /v2/checkoutsession endpoint specifically for subscription checkouts.
